Holidays provide some of the biggest opportunities for a church plant to connect with its community. These big days grab people’s attention and disrupt their routines. Most people are more likely to a holiday-related church event than the typical church gathering, so if you’re trying to reach the unreached, you can’t ignore a holiday. This course uses three specific holidays – Christmas, Halloween, and Easter – as examples to help you think through reaching out to your community, redeeming cultural practices, and integrating people into your church.
